Job summary

Code Ninjas of Fleming Island is seeking a friendly Code Sensei to mentor students in coding challenges, creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment. This frontline role guides ninjas through projects and helps them grow confidence with technology.

Part-Time, up to 25 hours/week, with availability 3 days per week (afternoons/evenings + weekends). Locations include Fleming Island, World Golf, and Saint Johns. Training, uniforms, and a flexible schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (mentoring, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in coding, gaming, or technology
• Ability to learn and apply curriculum quickly

Responsibilities

• Guide students through coding curriculum and projects
• Help ninjas build problem-solving, logic, and critical thinking skills
• Provide encouragement, support, and individualized coaching
• Ensure every student has a fun and rewarding experience
• Create a positive, high-energy, and safe environment
• Maintain awareness of all students on the floor
• Assist with opening/closing duties and dojo cleanliness
• Uphold Code Ninjas standards for safety, engagement, and professionalism
• Provide feedback to parents on student progress
• Represent the brand positively with families and guests
• Work closely with Lead Senseis and leadership team
• Participate in training and continuous development
• Contribute to a supportive and team-oriented culture
