Job summary

The Salvation Army service extension unit in Marion, IL is seeking a Kettle Driver to transport Bell Ringers, equipment, and donations to and from kettle sites. This is a part-time temporary position, 20 hours per week, starting at $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include recording time in ADP, logging bell ringer times, transporting funds to the bank, and checking potential kettle sites. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required; experience and reliable interpersonal

Qualifications

• Good driving record with one-year related experience.
• Proficient knowledge of roads in the designated territory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (Class E for MO and Class D for IL) and pass TSA MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bell Ringers, equipment (kettles, aprons, badges, bells, kettle stands…), and donations to and from kettle sites.
• Record time worked in ADP beginning at departure from the Corps and ending upon return.
• Record Bell Ringer times and drop off/pick up times to the Corps Officer or designee; report absences as needed.
• Transport monies to bank for deposit as directed.
• Check on possible new kettle and counter kettle sites as directed.
