Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous kennel/animal care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle animals up to 150 lbs.
• Flexible schedule; able to work all hours the practice is open.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for boarded animals, including feeding, watering, walking, bathing, and monitoring behavior and health.
• Safely transport animals between kennels, exam rooms, and lobby with gentle handling.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with restraint, positioning, and minor procedures.
• Follow feeding, medication, and exercise instructions for boarding pets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennels and facility areas.
• Greet owners, answer phones, and support a positive client experience.
