PetVet Care Centers' Laguna Hills Animal Hospital is seeking a Part Time Kennel Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians. You will care for pets, clean and sanitize facilities, and help maintain a safe hospital environment.

Opening shifts 7 AM-4 PM and closing shifts 10 AM-7 PM reflect a flexible schedule, with weekends and holidays required. The role offers hourly pay and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with sick animals and cleaning chemicals.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Read, write, and understand written directions.
• Detail oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Feed and monitor animals; record appetites and fluid intake.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with restraint when needed.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and safe chemical handling.
• Clean cages, runs, wards; manage litter boxes and water bowls.
• Walk and supervise patients as scheduled; follow directions precisely.
• Provide fresh bedding and restock supplies; support team tasks.
