Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking an Early Literacy Tutor K-3 in Southbridge, Massachusetts. This part-time position offers two schedule options, focusing on supporting Kindergarten and 1st grade students.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing learning skill deficits, communicating student progress to parents, and developing individualized lesson plans. Compensation is set at $35 per hour, with additional benefits available for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree and some work experience with children.
• Completed FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods.
• Attend training sessions to deliver designated instructional models.
• Develop individualized lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students during sessions.
• Maintain student files as required.
• Attend meetings with supervisors and parents.
