Job summary

Concorde Education invites qualified professionals to join its network of independent contractor instructors for current and future school-based programs. In-person assignments span diverse subjects; typical hours are 1–4 per week over 8–10 weeks, with compensation of $50–$65 per instructional hour. Start dates occur throughout the academic year.

No teaching certification is required in many cases; relevant experience in coaching, tutoring, or youth programs may qualify.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations.

Responsibilities

• Leading interactive instructional sessions for elementary, middle, or high school students.
• Introducing concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and practical activities.
• Preparing lessons or activities aligned with program objectives.
• Encouraging student curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Providing supervision and maintaining a respectful learning environment.
• Adjusting instructional approaches for different learning levels and abilities.
• Coordinating with school contacts and Concorde Education regarding logistics.
• Following site policies, safety procedures, and assignment expectations.
• Fulfilling responsibilities and schedules of accepted assignments.
