Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years' bookkeeping/finance experience.
• An Associate Degree with at least 1 year of bookkeeping/finance experience also acceptable.
• Courses in bookkeeping or accounting preferred. Accounts payable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable disbursement functions including recording vouchers, researching statements and invoices, and responding to vendor inquiries.
• Assist Senior Accountants and Controller with assigned accounting tasks.
• Prepare payment reports and run checks; respond to voucher inquiries and vendor inquiries.
• Maintain vendor files and provide professional internal and external customer service.
• Sign, verify, and distribute AP checks and sign AR checks weekly; assist with related duties as assigned.
