Job summary

Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, is seeking a part-time team member to prepare juice and other specialty products for purchase, set up demonstrations, and ensure safety and compliance during events.

You will read materials, assist with product demonstrations, and handle food handling tasks, labeling, and reporting. This role requires physical fitness and the ability to work varied hours in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Product Marketing, Product Demonstrations or in the food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred.
• Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase.
• Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events of other products as needed.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Applicable state and local food safety certification or license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare area for specialized food products.
• Read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and program compliance.
• Follow safety requirements when using equipment and lifting techniques.
• Adhere to tasks related to safe food handling, preparation, packaging, merchandising and disposal.
• Complete reporting requirements (including online) as required.
• Check product event schedule and emails for updates and supervisor requests.
• Complete certifications and attend training sessions.
• Follow safety guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, sterile work area.
• Assist teammates with event set-up/clean-up and kitchen duties when needed.
• Conduct food sampling and demonstrations to support business needs.
