This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop. Responsible for efficiently cutting and processing a variety of meat products to maximize yield and gross profit according to Meat Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates who only speak English.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Physical Demands: While performing duties, associates are regularly required to stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds and reach from 6-72 inches. Frequently lift/move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
Work Environment: Constantly works in a cool environment (34-36°F), frequently exposed to wet/humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and extreme cold. Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
