Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp in Whippany, New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional/DSP to assist clients in implementing goals from Individual Life Plans within the Center and community.

The role focuses on fostering learning in social, life, and vocational skills; hours are flexible, up to 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, in a setting with small groups and a positive working environment.

Qualifications

• AA (or higher) degree preferred, or HS degree with three years experience working with disabilities.
• Successful experience working with special needs population
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, parents, and Center staff
• Required criminal history background checks and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
