Job summary

Excel Facility Services in Sorrento, FL is seeking a reliable janitor to provide excellent cleaning services for USPS JLL part-time operations. You will keep assigned areas clean, follow the scope of work, and support multiple locations as directed by management.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning break rooms, restocking supplies, and reporting repairs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Clean countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
• Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition
• Follow safety rules and use safety precautions
• Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location
• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building
• Restock supplies in areas assigned
• Notify supervisor of repairs and ensure facilities/equipment are clean and safe
• Participate in workshops, training, and seminars for job functions
• Request janitorial supplies to ensure adequate quantities
• Ensure doors are locked at night (if applicable)
• Use Time and Attendance system to report hours
• Complete IVR system if applicable or notify manager if issues
• Always wear uniform and IDs while working
