Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas at client sites. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas, and following chemical and equipment safety procedures.

The role offers flexibility with morning and afternoon shifts, a 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM window, and weekly pay. A high school diploma or equivalent and reliability are preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrances.
• Empty trash cans; use of a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule and safety guidelines.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment and assist as needed.
