Job summary

Excel Facility Services is seeking a reliable janitor to provide excellent cleaning service at our Sinton, TX location. You will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in orderly condition, and you will execute the scope of work for all locations assigned by management.

The role emphasizes punctuality, ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to work independently. Uniforms and IDs are required, and biometric timekeeping will be used for timekeeping and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Clean counters, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners; clean receptacles
• Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition
• Follow safety rules and use safety precautions
• Complete SOW as requested by the manager per location
• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building
• Restock supplies in areas assigned
• Notify supervisor of repairs and keep areas clean
• Participate in workshops and training to perform job functions
• Request janitorial supplies to ensure adequate quantities
• Ensure doors are locked at night
• Use Time and Attendance system to report hours
• Notify manager via IVR if issues arise
• Always wear uniform and IDs while working
