Job summary

The Energy Authority (TEA) is seeking an IT Support Specialist for a part-time role in Bellevue, WA. The position focuses on Tier One support to ensure stability and efficient operation of IT systems supporting core organizational functions.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an Information Technology related program at a college or university. A related Associate's degree plus 1-2 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in Information Technology related program at a college or university.
• Associate's degree in a related area is desired, combined with 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic end-user training on systems and software.
• Inspects, installs, upgrades, configures, and tests new and existing hardware and software systems.
• Implements the electronic storage policy, including recorded voice logs, system backup tapes, and offsite storage.
• Ensures that process documentation exists for all routine and troubleshooting duties.
• Maintains on-call duty as required and assists IT staff with system support across the organization.
