Job summary

Solairus Aviation in Petaluma, CA is seeking a capable IT Specialist for a transitional part-time role with hands-on experience in a managed IT environment. You will handle day-to-day IT support requests, document steps, and ensure security across devices.

The position is on-site with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours per week and may include after-hours on-call coverage. Experience with Zendesk, Windows 10/11, MS 365, and MDM is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional IT support or helpdesk experience.
• Experience in a managed IT environment with ticketing systems and escalation paths.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, OS, and SaaS applications.
• Clear communication with non-technical users and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support and ticket resolution using Zendesk.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on laptops/desktops and peripherals on-site or remotely.
• Support iOS/Android devices and enforce MDM policies.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and asset lifecycle tasks.
• Collaborate on system upgrades and technology rollouts.
