Job summary

Pear Suite is seeking a detail-oriented IT & Security Analyst to support our security and compliance efforts on a part-time basis (≈20 hrs/week). You will work closely with the CTO to keep systems secure, access controls tight, and operations audit-ready.

This role offers hands-on exposure to HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 in a fast-moving healthcare SaaS startup, ideal for someone building a career in IT security or staying active part-time later in their career.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, security, compliance, or related role.
• MUST have SOC2 and HiTrust audit experience.
• Experience with audits, security assessments, or vendor risk programs.
• Experience managing access controls, SaaS tools, or device setup/offboarding.
• Proactive problem-solver with bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Security & Compliance: support HITRUST, HIPAA, and SOC 2 tasks; draft/update security policies; collect evidence for audits; monitor security practices and incidents.
