Job summary

Penn State Beaver, in collaboration with Penn State Shenango's Continuing Education Department, seeks Part-Time IT and Cybersecurity Instructors to teach CompTIA ITF+, Network+, and Security+ courses. Instructors will plan, deliver, and assess live online sessions via Zoom, with responsibilities including material prep, student feedback, and timely reporting.

Required are a Master’s degree or current candidacy for a terminal degree, and active CompTIA certifications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or active candidacy for a terminal degree in a relevant field.
• Current CompTIA certifications (ITF+, Network+, Security+).
• Experience teaching or training in a virtual learning environment.
• Strong communication, technology, and online classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with CompTIA certification objectives.
• Deliver courses live via Zoom in a synchronous remote format.
• Prepare and organize course materials.
• Teach scheduled sessions live via Zoom and evaluate student progress.
• Submit required documentation and reports accurately and on time.
