Job summary

Penn State Beaver is seeking Part-Time IT and Cybersecurity instructors to teach CompTIA ITF+, Network+, and Security+ in live remote classes via Zoom. Instructors will plan and deliver instruction aligned with certification objectives, prepare materials, teach scheduled sessions, evaluate student progress, and submit reports on time.

A Master’s degree and current CompTIA certifications are required. Courses run in designated time blocks, and candidates must be available during at least one time

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (or active candidacy for a terminal degree).
• Current CompTIA certifications in ITF+, Network+, and Security+.
• Experience teaching or training in a virtual learning environment.
• Strong communication, technology, and online classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with CompTIA objectives.
• Deliver live Zoom sessions in a synchronous remote format.
• Prepare and organize course materials.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Submit required documentation and reports accurately and on time.
