Job summary

Parallel, including its NETA operations in Massachusetts, is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Brookline to manage medicated and non-medicated item inventory. The role ensures regulatory compliance, stock control, and accurate record keeping across storefront and backoffice systems.

You'll work in a fast-paced cannabis environment, using METRC and the Seed to Sale system, with responsibilities including daily reconciliations, vault organization, and annual inventories.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in inventory management or an inventory role.
• Age 21 or over.
• Valid Government-Issued Photo ID.
• POS and cash handling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Accurate record keeping.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software and Internet navigation.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies & procedures for daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations.
• Stocking finished goods.
• Use and maintain inventory tracking systems and METRC to receive, track and adjust inventory.
• Assisting in order verifications.
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the vault.

• Assist and complete annual inventory as required by regulations.
• Assist with additional distribution duties as assigned.

Evenings and weekend availability. Saturdays and Sundays required. Hours can be between 8:00AM to 4:30PM or 1:00PM to 9:30PM.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory management of medicated and non-medicated items. Inventory Specialists play a critical role in ensuring that all monitoring of inventory is compliant with all regulations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Follow Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations.

Required: EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU'LL BRING

• At least one year of experience in inventory management or in an inventory role
• Age 21 or over
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
• POS and cash handling skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Accurate record keeping
• Proficiency in windows-based software and Internet navigation
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities

Preferred

• Experience utilizing the Dutchie Point of Sale and Backoffice platforms
• Focuses simultaneously on short- and long-term goals; ability to identify problems quickly
• Comfort with security protocols, including video monitoring and employee tracking

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly unassisted.
• Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting.
• Ability to wear personal protective gear during portions of the day.
