Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire date.
• Graduate of an approved professional nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of delegated, interdependent and independent nursing services using professional judgment.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for quality outcomes.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with patient/family and care teams.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per policy and procedures.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses each shift.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, meds and self-care.
