Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by an individual state board.
• BLS certification required or instructor credential.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care following standards and patient goals.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary plans of care with respect for patient rights and preferences.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, safety, discharge instructions, and self-care needs.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other interventions per policies.
• Monitor patient status with vital signs, labs, pain, intake/output, and glucose.
