Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
• Current CPR/First Aid certificate
• VHSL Coaches education certificate

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and proper conduct for all athletes during practice sessions and games
• Organize and plan daily practice schedule
• Attend professional in-service clinics and/or meetings to improve coaching performance
• Communicate with team physician and athletic director regarding injury care and prevention
• Counsel students to meet VHSL and NCAA eligibility requirements
