Norfolk Public School District Academy for Discovery at Lakewood in Norfolk, VA is seeking a part-time Speech Coach to start immediately. You will coordinate pre-season activities, maintain equipment, ensure safety, and collaborate with the athletic director, trainer, and staff.

Qualifications

• Part-time, temporary position with no benefits.
• Requires CPR/First Aid and VHSL Coaches education certificate.
• Knowledge of VHSL/NCAA eligibility requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow VHSL rules and NCAA eligibility requirements for participants.
• Conduct pre-season meetings with athletes and parents.
• Organize daily practice schedules and manage equipment.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment and communicate with athletic staff.
