Job summary

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in relevant specialty if applicable.
• Current DEA certificate.
• Unrestricted Colorado medical license.
• 1–3 years of clinical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment.
• Prescribe medication in accordance with Colorado statute and professional guidelines.
• Arrange referral for services not offered at Rocky Vista Health Center.
• Review incoming reports (lab, x-ray, EKG) and follow up promptly.
• Teach residents and medical students in the clinical setting.
• Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings.
