Job summary

Event Staffing in Atlanta seeks an experienced Instrument Technician to install, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair instruments and control systems in our production facilities. The role requires reading schematics and maintaining instruments with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize instrument performance, perform routine maintenance, keep detailed maintenance records, and comply with industry codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Instrument Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and electrical circuits.
• Able to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards for instrumentation installation and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Job description

A well-established manufacturing company in Atlanta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of various instruments and control systems used in our production facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Install calibrate troubleshoot and repair various instruments such as flow meters temperature sensors pressure gauges and control valves
• Perform routine maintenance checks on instruments to ensure proper functioning
• Diagnose and resolve any issues with control systems to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize instrument performance
• Keep accurate records of all instrument maintenance and repairs
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working on equipment

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Technology or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of PLC systems and electrical circuits is required
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards for instrumentation installation and maintenance
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

Salary $1000 per month
