Part‑Time Instructor Pool – Multimedia Arts & Technology

Salary: $82.33 – $115.20 hourly | Job Type: PT Credit Faculty | Location: Santa Barbara, CA | Department: Multimedia Arts and Technology

Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality instruction in lecture and laboratory settings as directed by the department. Create and maintain a learning environment that encourages discussion of ideas, interests, and issues. Be available to students outside of class for support and guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of professional experience, or
• Associate degree and at least six years of professional experience, or
• Master’s degree with any professional experience, or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.

Additional Information

These positions offer credit part‑time faculty rates: $102.90 per hour for lecture and $82.33 per hour for lab. A doctoral degree may qualify for higher rates.
