CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Introduction to Philosophy (PHIL 101) and Introduction to Critical Thinking (PHIL 102) through the Jumpstart Program at a Clark County School District high school.

Qualified candidates hold a Master's degree in Philosophy (or a JD for PHIL 102) and have completed at least 18 graduate credits in the subject, with the ability to engage high school students in critical thinking and philosophical inquiry.

Qualifications

• PHIL 101 requires a Master's degree in Philosophy.
• PHIL 102 requires a Master's degree in Philosophy or a law degree (JD).
• Transferable Courses: 18 graduate credits in Philosophy from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Teach PHIL 101 and PHIL 102 through the CSN Jumpstart Program at a CCSD high school.
• Engage high school students in critical thinking and philosophical inquiry; prepare and assess coursework.
