Job summary

Lehigh Carbon Community College in Pennsylvania seeks noncredit ESL or GED instructors to deliver instruction within grant funded, fee-based, or contracted classes. Instructors report to the Assistant Director of Literacy and Job Training and/or the Director of ESL, Literacy and Student Success.

Responsibilities include formulating instructional programs, curriculum development, maintaining portfolios and records, and conducting post-testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or appropriate field.
• Experience working with people in an educational setting.

• Motivates and encourages students
• Keeps current on adult education by attending professional development and meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned by the director
