An established educational institution is seeking part-time instructors for their E-Learning Instructional Design Certificate Program. Salary range: A reasonable estimate for this position is $2,100-$3,360 and would also be based on the specific number of courses assigned and enrollment numbers.
The Division of Continuing Education (DCE) is a self-supporting unit within the University of California. Funding is generated through fees from a diverse student population. This is a course-by-course contracted part-time instructor position, not a faculty role.
Online teaching positions are available in the E-Learning Instructional Design Certificate Program. We seek qualified applicants with current knowledge and/or experience in this field to create engaging online learning environments. Course topics include principles of e-learning design, development tools, interactive course creation, project management, evaluation, and practicum.
We aim to provide practical, current, and applicable courses taught by industry practitioners. Positions are on an as-needed basis, with applications accepted year-round for future needs, starting as early as Summer 2025.
Basic: Master's degree or higher, extensive e-learning industry experience, willingness to learn instructional technology tools.
Additional: Proficiency in subject area, high standards, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professional association participation, ability to work with professionals and students.
Preferred: Curriculum design experience, college-level or corporate teaching experience, online teaching experience.
