Responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging and effective learning experiences using various teaching methods.
- Maintaining attendance records and assessing student retention and success.
- Preparing and presenting relevant course materials.
- Evaluating student performance.
- Supporting recruitment and retention efforts for the CDL Program.
- Contributing to curriculum review and program improvements.
- Maintaining a positive classroom environment and timely reporting of issues.
- Keeping accurate enrollment and activity records.
- Participating in ongoing assessment and program evaluation.
- Performing additional duties to support college operations.
Physical Demands:
- Sitting or standing for extended periods.
- Operating computers and office equipment.
- Occasionally lifting items up to 15 pounds.
- Communicating effectively and observing details.
- Moving between classrooms and instructional sites as needed.
- Driving to remote locations for instructional purposes.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma with at least 5 years of over-the-road experience.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Strong background in Safety Training and Supply Chain Management.
- Prior teaching experience and FMCSA compliance.
