Job summary

The Kuna Joint School District 3 is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional Title 1 for Ross Elementary in Kuna, Idaho. This part-time role supports teachers and students in Title 1 programs and helps deliver instructional activities under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting in the delivery of instructional programs, working with individual or small groups, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. Starting date is immediate; wage ranges from $13.80 to $16.24 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 2 years of college or 32 credits; or an associates degree; or meet Praxis Para Pro cut score.
• Experience working with school age children is preferred.
• May need to lift up to 50 pounds and handle materials in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering an effective instructional program.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Respond to students’ questions and requests for assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and records.
• Create a positive classroom environment and support district policies.
