San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant II at Whitney for 6 hours daily (0.75 FTE). The role supports students with mild/moderate needs in inclusive settings and assists the teacher across activities.

Qualifications include relevant experience with resource or special education programs, CBEST or two years of college transcripts, or an AA degree. Some programs may require California Class C license within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience with students in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Ability to run small groups and assist in large groups under supervision.
• Familiarity with supporting teachers in General Education and Special Day Class settings.
