Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent degree.
• Current licensure to practice in the state where employed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• ASHA CCC is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses and treats disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice and swallowing.
• Consults, educates and trains patients, families and caregivers, and collaborates with care teams.
• Maintains documentation, billing, and adheres to regulatory requirements.
• Participates in mentoring and supervision of students and new hires
• Engages in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives
