Job summary

RIDGEVIEW is an not-for-profit community mental health center in Oak Ridge, TN, with an immediate opening for a Part-Time Psychiatric Technician on our 24/7 inpatient unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, friendly care to clients in a fast-paced environment.

You will be scheduled for 2 8pm-8:30am shifts per week and may pick up additional shifts as needed. Ridgeview values its staff and the impact they make on people’s lives, aligning with its mission to Hope, Healing, Recovery.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR and CPI certification required (classes provided by Ridgeview).
• Valid driver’s license required and must be able to work weekends and various shifts.
• Ability to respond to needs of individuals in crisis while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a therapeutic environment as part of the treatment team.
• Provide patient care interventions under the supervision of the registered nurse.
• Respond to crisis needs and maintain a safe environment for staff and patients.
