Job summary

Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Technician for the inpatient unit. The role involves assisting with patient care under supervision, contributing to a therapeutic environment, and responding to crises as needed.

Shifts are 2 eight-hour periods from 8pm to 8:30am per week, with potential to pick up additional shifts. Applicants must have a HS diploma or GED and be CPR/CPI certified, plus a valid driver’s license and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must be CPR and CPI certified.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to work weekends and various shifts.
• Ability to respond to crises while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Creates therapeutic environment with the treatment team.
• Provides patient care interventions under RN supervision.
• Responds to crisis situations and ensures staff and patient safety.
