Job summary

Responsibilities

Assist licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications.
Accurately select, prepare, and label medications for patients including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
Assist with medication distribution tasks.
Screen phone calls and route as needed using proper telephone etiquette.
Maintain daily pharmacy procurement, inventory control, and outdate checking.
Document removal, stocking, and wastage of controlled substances as applicable.
