Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse (RN) for a part-time role (16-24 hours). The position supports infusion care across our suite and other care settings, with local travel required.

You will administer therapies, monitor patient responses, educate patients and families, and ensure documentation and safety standards are met. A valid RN license, IV certification, and CPR are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Nursing degree from accredited program.
• IV certification and central line management experience.
• 2+ years RN experience (home infusion, critical care, ED or similar).
• CPR certification and valid driver's license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to support patients.
• Bachelor's degree, PICC/Port/Midline certification, and multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs, including central line (PICC/port/midline) care
• Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed
• Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care
• Perform venous phlebotomy as needed
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes
• Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams
• Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards
