Job summary

The University of Tampa is seeking part-time instructors for their Information & Technology Management Department. Instructors will teach courses in Management Information Systems, encompassing both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities include managing classroom instruction and online course systems, alongside modifying syllabi with departmental coordination. Candidates are required to hold a Master's Degree, with a Doctorate necessary for graduate courses, and preferred professional experience in information systems management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's Degree and at least 18 credit hours in management information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• A doctorate is required for graduate courses.
• Previous teaching experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or two 4-hour courses per semester.
• Modify existing course syllabus with department input.
• Manage online course system for the course.

Skills

Professional experience with information systems management

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Access)

Experience with or willingness to learn Enterprise Systems

Managerial experience in information systems

Education

Master's Degree in management information systems or related field
