Job summary

Mercor is seeking industrial and manufacturing engineers with 2-3 years of experience or postgrad students for a research project with an AI lab. You will complete real process and production engineering tasks on a Mac to help benchmark AI models outstandingly.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree in industrial or manufacturing fields and have lean/Six Sigma or data-analytical experience. This part-time role offers flexible hours and immediate start for dedicated learners.

Qualifications

Own a MacBook or Mac with Apple M-series or Intel, macOS 15+ required.
Engineering degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering.
Experience with process design, lean/Six Sigma, production planning, quality control, or supply chain analysis using spreadsheets, CAD, process-mapping, or statistical tools.
Currently pursuing or completed Masters or 2-3 years of experience + Bachelor's from a top institution.
Ability to clearly explain engineering decisions while working.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
