Job summary

Envigo RMS LLC – Teklad Custom and Standard Diet production facilities is seeking a Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician (20 hours/week). You will handle preventative, on‑demand and improvement maintenance on buildings, grounds and equipment, and support safety and security systems.

Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Manager. Requirements include 3+ years in electrical, HVAC and mechanical industrial maintenance in manufacturing; trade designation preferred; a engineering degree is

Qualifications

• Three + years of electrical, HVAC and mechanical industrial maintenance work experience in manufacturing.
• Trade designation such as Industrial Mechanic/Millwright or Master Electrician preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or engineering background is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in health & safety program implementation and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance for buildings, grounds and equipment in quality systems.
• Repair buildings and equipment on-demand and ensure availability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems with independence.
• Communicate repair schedules with production, shipping, and receiving teams.
• Train other maintenance technicians and selected staff in preventive and repair work.
