Job description

Anoplate is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Mechanic II to perform daily mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance inspections of production and facility equipment, including maintenance and project tasks. The objective is to support and maintain smooth production operations, ensure safety for all personnel, and protect the environment.

In This Role You Will:

1. Independently perform all types of mechanical repairs to process and facility equipment, including troubleshooting improperly functioning process equipment.
2. Install new production equipment by laying out and installing new or modifying existing tanks, plumbing, and exhaust systems.
3. Perform basic electrical repairs to process equipment and lighting.
4. Conduct both mechanical and basic electrical preventive maintenance inspections on all types of facility equipment.
5. Develop a list of required materials to complete assigned jobs, fill out purchase requisitions, and submit them to the supervisor for purchase.
6. Perform PMs of all difficulty levels and demonstrate or train others on specific tasks as required.
7. Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, steel, aluminum, and titanium.
8. Possess working knowledge of all fabrication tools and equipment.

Requirements

Your skills, knowledge & abilities:

1. Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance or electrical experience.
2. Basic math and computer skills.
3. Ability to understand both verbal and written instructions.
4. Ability to give simple verbal and written instructions to others.
5. Effective interaction with co-workers.
6. Ability to prepare simple written reports.
7. High school diploma or GED.
8. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
9. Understanding of basic maintenance functions and/or surface painting.
10. Pre-employment drug testing and background screening are required.
