Job summary

The Mundy Companies is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a long-term, part-time role in the Corpus Christi, TX area. The ideal candidate has an associate degree and industrial lab experience, with strong data interpretation and good communication skills.

Responsibilities include ensuring HSE compliance, participating in RCA when needed, performing analyses, calibrations, and maintaining equipment and records. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Associate Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum 1-2+ years of laboratory analysis experience in an industrial lab environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive and ensure 100% compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality practices and related objectives.
• Perform sampling, testing, and enter results into ERP (JDEdwards).
• Calibrate analytical equipment and maintain lab records and inventories.
• Support continuous improvement and assist in updating test methods.
• Provide analytical reports and communicate findings to operations and customers.
