Job summary

BRITISH SWIM SCHOOL is seeking a part-time swim instructor to teach students of all ages at multiple IL locations. You will follow our aquatics program in a year-round, indoor setting, creating a safe and fun learning environment.

Ideal candidates love working with children, are swimmers, and enjoy a flexible schedule with weekend and weekday shifts. No summer-only role; paid training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a swimmer with knowledge of basic strokes
• Loves working with children and watching them progress
• Be upbeat and enjoy having fun at work
• Year-round indoor position; not a summer job
• Weekend shifts 9:00am–4:00pm and Weekdays 3:30pm–8:00pm
• Must be able to commute to pools in Arlington Heights, Naperville, Carol Stream, South Elgin or Oswego

Responsibilities

• Teach students of all ages following the British Swim School aquatics program
• Provide a safe, fun and structured learning environment
• Support families with progress and safety while delivering high-quality instruction
