Wasatch Behavioral Health in Payson, Utah, seeks an incentivized therapist to join the Payson Family Clinic onsite. The role focuses on children, adolescents, and families within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering accessible, evidence-based behavioral health care in our community.

You will provide individual, family, and group therapy, complete documentation, and coordinate with schools, courts, and social services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Utah licensure as LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or ability to obtain before starting).
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
• Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with young children preferred; Spanish speakers may qualify for wage increase.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy, using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and diagnostic interviews to identify needs and plan treatment.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans focused on goals and progress.
• Maintain caseload and complete accurate clinical documentation.
• Deliver trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and families.
• Participate in family meetings, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination.
• Coordinate care with parents, schools, state agencies, hospitals, and partners to ensure continuity of care.
• Screen referrals to determine appropriate placement and services.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to provide comprehensive care.
• Offer consultation and training to team members and community partners.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed to improve quality of life.

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as an Incentivized Therapist at our Payson Family Clinic in Payson, Utah. This onsite position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality behavioral health care to children and families in our community. As a local government agency, we're committed to helping individuals overcome mental health challenges through compassionate, evidence‑based treatment. This performance‑based incentivized position provides the flexibility and opportunity to deliver outpatient services while working with children, adolescents, and families. We are especially seeking a clinician with experience and a passion for providing therapeutic interventions to young children ages 3 and older. What You'll Do As a Therapist

• Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans focused on client goals, progress, and long‑term wellness.
• Maintain an assigned caseload while completing accurate, timely clinical documentation and records.
• Provide compassionate, trauma‑informed care to children, adolescents, and families experiencing a variety of behavioral health challenges.
• Participate in family team meetings and assist with discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and transition of services.
• Coordinate care with parents, courts, state agencies, hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners to support continuity of care.
• Screen and evaluate referrals to determine appropriate placement and ensure clients receive the services that best meet their needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, case managers, medical providers, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care.
• Provide consultation, training, and clinical guidance to support team members and community partners.
• Monitor client progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and help clients build skills to improve their overall quality of life.
