Job summary

BuddiesHR is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates in Indianapolis, IN 46241 to perform in-store data collections at local retailers. The base hours average 6-8 per week with 1-2 extra hours per store for special projects, year-round.

You'll use a mobile app to scan barcodes, tally about 45% of products, and meet weekly deadlines. Travel is paid, and 401(k) with employer matching is available; a monetary referral program is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods and to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be tech savvy and have reliable Wi-Fi.
• Deadline-driven self-starter; able to work independently.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a downloadable app on your mobile phone to scan barcodes in stores.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store weekly; may take several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects that add 1–2 hours per store during peak weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
