BuddiesHR is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year. The role involves scanning barcodes, data entry via a mobile app, and meeting weekly deadlines in a flexible, independent work setting.

The position is on-site in Mount Carroll, IL 61053, with expected weekly hours and project-based increases. Prior experience is helpful but not required, and drivers with reliable vehicles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to endure standing for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to reach 6 feet in the air and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in stores using a mobile app.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines to deliver data to clients.
• Independently perform store scanning with occasional custom projects.
• Work across multiple store types (grocery, drug, etc.) throughout the year.
