Job summary

Delaware Technical Community College is seeking student tutors to provide in-person tutoring for Math (Basic Statistics, Algebra, Pre-Calculus) and Science (Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics).

Incumbents may work up to 20 hours per week while enrolled students; responsibilities include tutoring peers, documenting session details, and coordinating scheduling with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled student at Delaware Technical Community College.
• Knowledge of tutoring methods and learning resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring to peers in Math and/or Science as assigned.
• Record a general description of topics covered after each session.
• Document student progress using supervisor's format.
• Schedule tutoring sessions to fit both student and incumbent availability.
• Perform other related duties as required.
