Integrated Machinery Solutions is seeking a Jr. Software Developer Intern to support an internal web-based application, gain hands‑on experience in software testing, data validation, SQL, and application development.

The internship is part-time and in-office, offering opportunities to work with the development team on testing, auditing data, documenting results, and learning real‑world development processes within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or related degree program.
• Must be at least a Junior-level student.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency with or willingness to learn Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze information and identify discrepancies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a development team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing and auditing an internal web-based application.
• Use SQL and Excel to review, analyze, and validate system data.
• Audit developer work and system functionality to identify discrepancies or potential issues.
• Perform data comparisons and help verify that application processes are working as expected.
• Document testing results and communicate findings to the development team.
• Assist with identifying and reporting software bugs or inconsistencies.
• Support other software development and testing projects as needed.
