Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes across Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.

Join a network of veterinarians with ongoing mentorship, flexible 2-5 day-per-week options, and a supportive team while practicing independently in a home-based setting that honors balance and well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in-home.
• Coordinate care with Lap of Love support team and practice managers.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in Colorado Springs, CO, including Peyton, Monument, Fountain, and surrounding areas, offering a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
