Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Denver, CO is seeking a Full-Time House Call Veterinarian to deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in pets' homes across Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Westminster, and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible scheduling, mentorship, and a supportive culture that prioritizes clinician well-being and work-life balance.

You will join a network of over 400 veterinarians, with onboarding and ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for bonus compensation

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile hospice and euthanasia veterinary care in pets' homes.
• Deliver compassionate support to families during end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team for mentorship and onboarding.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Denver, CO, including Aurora, Littleton, Westminster, Arvada, Lakewood, Parker, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
